DAY 1

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.
Our Safari Driver/tour guide will pick you, then transfer to Kampala. If your flight arrives in the morning you are advised to change your money into Uganda Shillings.You can straight away continue to visit some exciting places with the help of our driver/guide. These may include; Kasubi Tombs, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, the Uganda museum among others . Dinner and overnight; Namirembe Guest House of the Church of Uganda.

DAY 2

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth.
After an early morning breakfast we calmly drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park passing through Fort-Portal enter the great Western rift valley into the slopes of Mt.Rwenzori to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have lunch and relax near the pool at Mweya Peninsula before going on a game drive in search of the first wildlife, including Warthogs, Buffaloes, Waterbucks and Elephants. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

DAY 3

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning game drive heading to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat before returning for lunch. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel that connects Lakes Edward and Lake George. Thanks to the abundant birdlife that is sighted, and the Elephants, Buffaloes and hundreds of Hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari.Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

DAY 4

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.
Early morning breakfast at Mweya safari lodge, take a walk with an armed game ranger to the grounds of the Uganda Kob. Search for Lions in their natural habitat, as well as Elephants, Buffaloes etc, before returning for lunch. After a leg-stretch, we visit the bat and hunters cave where we take a close look at the bats, rock Python and forest Cobras. During the trail we seek out birds, primates; tree species etc. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

DAY 5

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK .
After breakfast, driving through grassland area, instantly we come across an amazing gorge of tropical rainforest 100 meters deep. Trek into Kyambura River Gorge for an extraordinary experience, hiking Chimpanzees. Get a remunerative sight of the ravishing river valley- home of many bird and butterfly species. Take lunch in preparation for a drive back through Katunguru gate to Mweya Peninsula to arrive in the late evening. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

DAY 6

Choose between a nature walk on the Mweya Peninsula or a guided walk around Lake Kikorongo to see the bird species that inhabit this lake and the surrounding forest. In the afternoon visit Katwe Salt Lake to learn about traditional salt mining, followed by a short walk to Lake Munyenyange to spot lesser flamingos (August-November) and other bird life. End the day with an evening game drive on the Channel track and looping trails. Drive back to the Lodge for an evenning drink and relux at Mweya Safari Lodge.

DAY 7

Take an Agro-Tour Walk through community farmland to learn about farming methods, medicinal plants and bee keeping, then drive to the Ishasha Sector for a picnic lunch on the plains. Explore the Edward Flats and spot the region’s famous tree climbing lions. We can also take a nature walk with an Armed guide along the Ishasha River.End your drive at the Queen’s Pavilion for a cup of African tea or coffee enjoy views of the rolling hills against the Rwenzori Mountains. DAY 8

Have a cup of African Coffee or tea and a muffin at 6:15am and take your packed breakfast with you to watch birds in Maramagambo Forest. After a late lunch return back to your lodge, proceed to the Katwe area, looking out for birds like little Grebe; African Finfoot; Greater and Lesser Flamingos; Augur Buzzard; Crested Guineafowl; Pied Avocet; Black-winged Stilt; Diederick Cuckoo; Yellowbill; Narina Trogon; Shining-blue Kingfisher; Black Bee-eater; Black-and-White-Casqued Hornbill; Yellow-rumped, and Speckled Tinkerbirds; Grey-throated and Yellow-Spotted Barbets; Brown- eared Woodpecker, Rufous-naped, Flappet and Red-capped Larks; Grassland and Plain-backed Pipits; Western Nicator, Yellow-whiskered, Little and Slender-billed Green buls; Snowy-headed and Red-capped Robin-chats; Brown-backed Scrub-robin; Grey-capped Warbler; Grey and Buff-throated Apalis; Brown-thoated Wattle-eye; African Paradise Flycatcher; Olive-bellied, Green, Olive, Variable and Collared Sunbirds; Starlings; Weavers; Widowbirds; Bishops; Finches; and Waxbills among others. DAY 9

Take a morning game drive through the Mweya Peninsula to the Crater Lakes, continue to Snake homes for a visit to Pythons and enjoy the differnce with a final glimpse of the wildlife experience. Join the main road to cross Kazinga Channel on our way out through Kyamuhunga Tea plantations on the way back.You will pass on Ankole Long horned Cattle before Mbarara town heading to Kampala continue to Entebbe International Airport for your evening flight.
